Art of Fame

There is no doubt that Lady Gaga is a major cultural celebrity and is very controversial due to her outrageous costumes, music videos, and general stage antics. Gaga has been included in Time magazine’s annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world as well as Forbes’ list of the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world. Forbes also placed her at number seven on their annual list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. Additionally, Billboard named her as the Artist of the Year in 2010. Did you know that she graduated from a Catholic girls school and was considered a good student???? and that at the age of 17, Gaga gained early admission to the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts????
Recently, Anderson Cooper did a series of interviews with Lady Gaga for the news program “60 minutes”. She claims she is a master of the “art of Fame.” Watch the interview and give me your thoughts on her worldview in at least 50 words.
