Pretty boring at first kinda sucked but i liked it in the long run didnt know why all those people wouold walk past id help the blind man but o well very good video on how a blind man can change his words to get more help from others i feel even with or without the words being diffrent as christians we should have a burning passion to help him no matter what but i liked the video ending
ReplyDeleteI thought it was really sad. It was a good video to watch though makes you want to help people and it makes you realize a lot of people are in need. The woman was really nice with helping him out and changing his sign the reaction changed quick. I would have helped him if I saw him sitting there he looked sad.
ReplyDeleteit was very sad and interesting at he same time but the concept was very good those words changed everything its amazing how the people take diffent words into diffrent means and all of a sudden change there hole thought process of a persons life and how they have to live through it .we just need to think about people before we judge .
ReplyDeleteThough it was sad,I really enjoyed the video because it made me think about how when you change the way something is said, you see things in a whole new perspective. I liked how the woman helped him the most by simply re-stating something, and then there was a drastic change in how much people gave him. I do think the video is worth wacthing because it really makes you think about others, and how you say things effects the way others think
ReplyDeleteThis video was very touching. It was sad, but had a good message in it. Words are very powerful, and can mean a lot to people. They can either build up or tear people down. We should be cautious in what we say and think about it before we say it. Adding or changing a few words in our speech can make a big differnce. I think this video was well worth watching, because it makes me think of how I use my words, and what they mean to others.
ReplyDeleteI thought this video was very good, it was touching,and also gave a good message.The power of words can change alot of things,like for example we can say i can't ,but when we take off the apostrophe t and it spells can.One can also say the most meaningful thing and it not mean anything to others,but to you it meant alot.It's like the old saying "It's not what you said it's how you said it."Also take into consideration that ,not only do you make your words meaningful to oneself and others,the key is to make your words clear for all to understand.And lastly i thought this video was really worth watching, because it makes you think about:what you say, how you say it , and how it is beneficial to others.

Also, like the video demonstrates the way you say things matter a lot as well. To answer the question, yes. The power of words could easily change the whole world. They could ruin someone's day or make someone's day. Words are the only way we can communicate and the power of them is pretty much unlimited.
ReplyDeleteat first i thought that she wrote something mean but when people just started throwing money at him i was like I WANT THAT SIGN. The ending was really good and it makes you think how you can say things in a better way where people will be more touched by it and how you can persuade people easier when you have better usage of words
ReplyDeleteI think this video was kinda dumb. good message..but the way they did it was dumb. The power of words does have an impact on the people around you. Words can build up, or break down. They can get people to do what you say when you say. But in this video i think the blind man example is just a bad one. If you see a blind man you will want to help him whether he can make a creative saying or not. Like i said..good message but i think it was poorly said.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad that the man was blind. When the lady came by and rewrote the sign the blind got more money. The reason the blind man got more money was because everybody who read the sign made them really think what the blind man was missing in life. I think the video ws worth watching because it lets us know that simply changing a sign words to something else that means the same can make people think different.
