This video has been around awhile, but it is worth seeing again. This week I want you to comment on the video but also relate it to our class (this may require some thought!)

Well i didnt completely understand this video but what i got out of it was kinda like mr davis being mr davis and well we are all taking or chances with our education and its weather we want to take the exam or not and well he choose not to even with warnings and he tried with a chance of his education to win the lottery and he failed and so he wasted it and wont become anything and thats why he pointed out to his teacher do you know who i am and he wasted his education but took the chance and thats what i at least got out of it and learned is to not take my education for granted and on a chance
ReplyDeleteWell what I got out of the video, was this boy was traking an exam and in the last minture he decided to put the exam aside and use his time to play a scratch pff ticket for the lottery. When he got up the teacher said he took to long(?) but this relates to our class because usually once the bell rings times up and we need to use our time wisely. But it was clever how he asked the teacher if he knew who he was, and since he didn't, he just put his test in since he wouldn't be able to tell
ReplyDeleteUhhhh, okay. So in the video the boy was getting ready to turn in his exam, but at the last minute decided to see if he would win something on a lottery ticket. I really do not understand why he did that, but I will give you my thoughts. I guess, he thought he didn't have a chance to do well on the test so he thought he might have a chance of winning some money. I suppose this would relate to our class when you talk about "trophy wives". Just giving up on actually being something/making something of youself. Instead, just looking nice, having money, etc.
ReplyDeletehahaha this was pretty funny, i might have to try it in college. Anyways, the dude had already finished his test and was using his pen to scratch off a loto ticket. The teacher told the class to stop and turn in the test. When the guy didnt, the teacher was being a jerk and told him that he was getting an f. The guy knew the teacher didnt know who he was and found a way to make him have to grade his paper. It relates to our class that we should pay more attention to what Mr.Davis says and that Mr.Davis should be more understanding.
ReplyDeletei didnt understand the video at first.But it was pretty funny when he put the test down anyway.But the moral of the story is that when we are told time is up we need to follow instructions and do so, or we will get a jerk teacher who tells your to late within 5 seconds,and we need to also learn to fight our own case even if were on time.like the old sayin " if your late your on time,if your on time your late.

He was smart in how he found a way to get an actual grade.But the video is trying to say you need to follow instructions when they are given and the other person needs to try to understand the other side. It relates to our class because it kinda shows two views of things and there are a lot of views in our class discussions.
ReplyDeleteI do seriously do not understand the point of the video after seeing it like 6 times but i thought it was funny, so i'm just gonna give what i think it is about. when the teacher said one minute pls and the guy brought out a lottery ticket,and then scratches it. i think it is just telling us to always concentrate in whatever we do and we should not let ourselves be distracted by little things and i relate this to what we do talk about in class about relationships because relationships need concentration on the partner in order to have a long and healthy relationship with him/her.
ReplyDeleteThe video was funny. What I got out of the video was that the guy was taking a test and he got done so he decided to play a lottery. When the teacher said turn in the exams the guy kept his exam because he was distracted by his ticket and when he went to turn in his exam the teacher said he failed then the guy asked the teacher did he know who he was the said no and the student turned in his exam the way I think this relates to our class is that if Mr.Davis says times up on a test we should obey him, but also if Mr.Davis is giving us order and he doesn't know who he is giving it to how can Mr.Davis punish us.
ReplyDeleteI guess how i would relate this to our class is use our time wisely, it also seems to have something to do with identity which is what we are talking about in class but i don't really get the point. Other than that this video has no purpose what so ever.
ReplyDeleteThe guy was funny and smart. But he doesnt have respect to teacher. In China, they have traditional education system and if you do this to teacher they will call your mother or father and say how bad are you. In America, everybody think postive so some student doesnt have any respect they did whatever they want. and teacher was kind to them. so we should kind to teacher.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video and i thought it was entertaining and funny but I'm not sure what it had to do with Bible class at all. You asked us to relate it to our class and I can do that though. This video is relative to our class because like the teacher in the video, Mr. Davis is definitely serious when he says to put our pencils down after the bell rings. That is all I've got.
ReplyDeletei thought it was very interesting video . its also very easy to relate to our class because our guys would be the only people who would bring a scratch off into class but as for the teacher mr davis you fit perfectly . you are so serious about pencils down but unfortunately you know us .
