Great discussions!

  1. I think the discussion was great too.But it's amazing how something like the Kony situation brought everybodys oppin to the table. I also think that we should all step up for not only what we believe in as a whole but in other issues as well. The video thing was great it showed that we all should have some privacy. But that when looking at issues like that we should take in consideration looking at all issues.

  2. I really enjoyed the Kony discussion. but probably the most responsive discussion was the one about the gay guy that committed suicide. i liked how we had a diversity of oppinions within the class. discussions like that where different points of view are represented.

  3. I liked the Kony discussion. I liked that discussion because I learned about something that is a international problem. The sad part was that I had never heard about him and what he has done to children for 26 years and no one has put enough effort into stopping him.

  4. I love our Bible class discussions! It is very interesting to listen and hear what other people think about different situations. The Kony discussion is very interesting to me. It is something I really want to get involved with. Some people on facebook now, since it has gotten pretty big the past week or two, actually seem to not think it is such a big deal-which I don't get. They say it has been around since like 1980 something and why are we just now starting to care. Yes, I do kind of understand their viewpoint, but also doesn't what they're saying kind of prove what we are saying? We are wanting to make Kony famous, so people know who he is. In the video it said that 99% of our population did not know who he was. So the reason we are just starting to "care" is because we are just finding out for ourselves.

  5. I love our disccussion that we have in class and learn so much from everyone and see things in new ways. i think some of the greastest dicussions were the Kony and when we talked about the different ways males and females see things. in both these subjects everyone had an opinion and something to say.

  6. I liked our discussion about the guy who recorded his room mate having homosexual intercourse. I thought it was great how we all had different kind of views on if it was right or wrong, what his punishment should be, and if he should be held responsible for his room mate killing himself.

  7. This is my first time hear joseph kony. i googled the name and i knew knoy is a bad guy. and he was forcing on over 30,000 kids to go to army, disfigure the face, destroy the kid's body and make the kids kill their parents. but he still can enjoy his life right now.

  8. this was a good week of discussion I enjoyed the kong thing we watched and talked about I hated the thought of the subject but it is a important thing we need to be looking for even though it doesn't involve us and the topic about the kid being charged for hate crimes over all good discussions

  9. I really liked the Kony 2012 discussion and i thought it was the most interesting. I also liked talking about the gay guy killing himself and the discussion about the "am i ugly" video. Those 3 discussions were some of the best ones we have talked about and you know it is a good discussion when everyone has something to say about it like these 3.

  10. i think that during this week all the discussions were really good, i speciffically liked the way that during the conversations we constantly disagreed with each other and tried to prove why we were right and we would all give good reasons to back it up.
